Michael LandauSenior Vice President
Michael Landau is a senior vice president at Gladstone Place Partners where he advises companies on communications matters related to investor relations, shareholder activism, corporate positioning and issues management. He has a decade of agency and in-house experience providing strategic communications and investor relations expertise for clients across industries throughout a wide range of high-profile corporate events.
At Gladstone, Michael has worked on financial communications, investor relations, and executive profile-raising assignments for companies including Barrick Gold, IBM, Markel, Nikola, and PrizePicks. His transaction experience includes advising The Chernin Group in its strategic investment in Funko, HNI in its acquisition of Kimball International, and Oklo’s proposed business combination with AltC, a special purpose acquisition company.
Prior to Gladstone, Michael was the director of corporate communications at NYSE-listed Minerals Technologies (MTI). In this role, he developed the company’s global communications agenda with responsibility for the Annual and Sustainability Reports, investor-focused activities, employee communications, social and digital media, and government relations.
Before MTI, Michael was a director at Joele Frank, where he advised clients on a variety of special situations and developed robust external and internal communications programs. His transaction experience includes advising Shire Pharmaceuticals in its sale to Takeda Pharmaceuticals, ACE in its acquisition of Chubb, Family Dollar in its sale to Dollar Tree, and Verizon Communications in its acquisition of Vodafone’s interest in Verizon Wireless.
Michael graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor’s degree in Human and Organizational Development.
